So...GAMES!
Well...
Now that summer has finally arrived. This game has been a daily activity. Bring Mommy lots of beautiful flowers. I love it! :)
Matt was off today...so we headed to Colorado for a little impromptu family day. We took the boys to a farm. They enjoyed the animals, but this game was by far their favorite part.
This game has quickly become a favorite for Elijah. BTW ---This art easel was an awesome gift for the boys. They both play with it constantly.
Then there is the watering the flowers game that is also a favorite at our house. I don't think I will have to worry about my flowers dying of thirst this summer. Drowning...well that may be another issue.
Then there are the playground games that I look forward to getting many more hours of this summer. Lije is great at encouraging Simeon and catching him at the bottom of the slide. Its fun to watch and listen to them playing with their imaginations. And then there is the age old game of mom lining the kids up to take a picture while Sandra does a little dance right behind me to make them laugh. And them humoring us for a minute when all they want to do is run away back to their land of being a care-free kid. Ahhh...good times! :)

And now, the running game that I have a love-hate relationship with. This week it leaned more toward the love side. We ran the BolderBoulder on Monday. It was awesome! It wasn't a great run...some unforeseen circumstances got the run off to a not so good start...and my time has been so much better in Laramie. But despite that, we had A BLAST! It was so much fun! Can't wait to do it again next year!

The picture of Matt & I was taken by Tammy...but I took the rest!
I actually ran all 6.2 miles with my point and shoot in hand.
It was fun & resulted in a whole bunch of blurry pictures of all kinds of crazy things along the way.
Yes, I turn bright read about 3 seconds after I start running. That's Tammy & Jason right behind me.
Yep...Even Elvis was there. Other entertainment on the run that made me chuckle included a palm reader, lots of bands, a girl who handed me a cupcake, people throwing marshmallows, sprinklers, people in all sorts of crazy costumes, drum lines, belly dancers, people on stilts, slip and slides, and lots of other random stuff. Good times! :)
