It felt like a very "mom-ish" thing to do.
However I was lazy and didn't want to re-thread a needle so I ended up using blue thread on a brown moose.
Yes, it looks slightly ghetto, but still cute. But it did the job and will keep Sim from tracking stuffing all over my house.
I showed Sim that his moose was fixed. Showed him the bright blue thread at the mooses mouth. I said, "sorry, I didn't have brown thread, just blue, so you can see it. But its fixed."
Simeon hugged it and said, "Thats okay, Mommy. Its okay if I can see it. Then I will look at it forever and ever and know that you fixed my moosey for me. Right, Mommy. Its okay."
It was very cute. He took it to his room and threw it on his bed, where it will wait to be cuddled at naptime.
As I commenced my mending efforts...on to the huge puppy pillow pet, I was thinking. What wise words my son has in his little almost-three year old head.
God has fixed so much in my life. Yet I still see scars of these things from time to time. Emotional, mental, physical scars...that I wish would go away, but I still notice them every now and then.
And that may just be a beautiful thing after all.
So I can look at them "forever and ever" ...and know who fixed them for me.
Just like Sim will no longer be sad that the stuffing is falling out of his stuffed animals. They have been fixed. I no longer need to be sad or hold guilt or remain angry about the "holes" in my life.
So I can rejoice in that. I can celebrate that my God loves me enough to deliver me from so much. And the scars that get noticed from time to time...well they are just a reminder of that love. And that he has "fixed" me...and will continue to "fix" me. God knows I will continue to screw up. :)
He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.

For most of the universities and colleges offering degree programs in human resources. Usually these degrees can be achieved in two years but now many high schools offer four years of education for the incorporation of business management degree and dispute resolution. This title is needed for large companies looking for trained human resources.
